The Keys edged Myrtle 3-2 in extras on the road Sunday in their series finale with thePelicans, winning the three-game set and their fourth game in their last five contests.That victorious spurt has pushed the Keys into second in the Carolina League North,in position to earn a playoff berth. Frederick returns home tonight to start a three-game series with Carolina and a six-game homestand. Southpaw Tim Berry starts for the Keys, sporting a 3-0 record and a 2.73 ERA against the Mudcats this season.Robert Whitenack starts for Carolina after being promoted today. First pitch is set for 7 p.m. with coverage beginning 30 minutes prior with the The Frederick Gorilla Pre-Game Show on 1450-AM The Source and wthu.org.

Was rated as the No. 23 prospect in the Cubs system entering the season despitehaving had Tommy John surgery in June of 2011. After going 7-0 with a 1.93ERA between Advanced-A and Double-A before his injury in
11, he struggledwhen he returned last season, going 1-6 with a 5.96 ERA for Advanced-ADaytona.
 
Made two starts for Carolina in May, going 0-1 with a 4.66 ERA. Also startedtwice for Double-A Akron and allowed 14 runs in six innings.
 
Started in eight games and pitched once in relief for short-season-A MahoningValley before being promoted today. He went 3-4 with a 3.86 ERA.
 
Drafted by the Cubs in the eighth round of the 2009 draft and was claimed off waivers by Cleveland on April 3. He
s the only player ever drafted out of SUNYOld Westbury.

: When Tim Berry starts for theKeys, they usually win. Though the Keys
lefty is just 8-6 on the season, the team is15-6 when he starts. At home, Berry has started nine times and the Keys have wonsix of those games. He also has an ERA of 2.87 at Harry Grove Stadium, whereopponents are batting .263 against him.

: Keys outfielder Johnny Ruettiger stole two bases in theKeys
last game improving his season total to 33, third best in the Carolina Leagueand four steals out of second place. Ruettiger 
s been efficient on the basepaths, too,successfully swiping bags when he runs 83 percent of the time.
SMELLS LIKE PLAYOFFS:
The Keys have moved back into second-place in theCarolina League North, behind first-half winner Potomac and ahead of their playoff- berth competition, Lynchburg and Wilmington. Frederick leads the third-placeHillcats by a game entering play Thursday.
