There were several things that led me down the path of foreclosure. I could run through the list, but I won't bore you. What I do want to tell you about is how it all ended. I was sent to 1st Foreclosure Prevention. I was skeptical, but hey, what more did I have to lose? The guy that I talked to was very nice and he knew all the ins and outs of foreclosure. He did not make me feel any worse than I already did. As a matter of fact he even got a laugh out of me. Together with the mortgage company we came up with a solution that we could all live with. It's nice to be able to open my mail, answer my phone and my door without worrying who it was going to be. I've learned a valuable lesson too. I read about people who were forclosed on but I never thought it would happen to me. I got in over my head with credit cards even though I had been warned by my folks.
