Do You Believe in Miracles?“Miracles Happen...”

I have hadsome powerfulteachings around the power of miracles and belief and have beenfortunate to belong to manycircles where every member of the circle has a strong belief inmiracles. Miracles happen whenwe are willing to do our own work of removing blocks and fears thatlimit us from believing in them. Journeying to our Helping Spirits, we can access a great dealof information about our limiting beliefs and attitudes that keep usfrom moving forward in our lives.Can you truly imagine our Earthwith clean water to drink, plentyof nourishing food for all to eat,clean air to breathe, and peopleliving in harmony? We cancollectively manifestthis dream,however we need to do the work of removing our limiting beliefs,doubts and fears that get in theway of this dream unfolding. Ancestor Exercise: While working with some Advanced Shamanism studentsrecently in a Medicine for theEarth retreat we did this exercise. We all rattled and drummedbecoming the hollow bone. Thecircle members were invited topartner with another. Onepartner held the intention of merging with the Spirit of the Ancestors who belonged to theother partner. We will call thispartner the ‘A ncestor’. Theremaining partner connected andmerged with their own Helping Spirit. We will call this partnerthe ‘Shaman’.Once merged the partners satacross from one another,connecting hands and heartswhile the ‘Shaman’ gazed into theleft eye (window to the soul) of the‘Ancestor’ and asked this question:“What limiting beliefs andattitudes do I carry from theancestors that keep me frombelieving in miracles?”
