Whose Word Will You Believe?
"While Jesus was still speaking, someonecame from the house of Jairus, the synagogueruler.'Your daughter is dead,' he said. 'Dont bother the teacher anymore.' Hearing this, Jesussaid to Jairus,'Dont be afraid; just believe, and she will be healed.'"
told Jairus that his daughter is dead.
told Jairus not to fear and "just believe."
Jairus' daughter is dead.
Jesus can perform a miracle, regardless of what the fact tells us.
The question is:
Whom will you believe?
---Someone tells you, "Your sickness has no cure."Jesus tells you, "I am your Healer."Someone tells you, "You are laid off from your job."Jesus tells you, "Don't worry. I will provide for you."Someone tells you, "You're worth nothing."Jesus tells you, "You are the apple of my eye; I knit you in your mother's womb; You are fearfully andwonderfully made."---The
is greater than the fact.Take Jesus' word for it!*
"They laughed at him, knowing that she was dead. But he took her by the hand and said,"My child, get up!" Her spirit returned, and at once she stood up. "
