How would LEADearth Fellowship work?
Selection of Fellows
Application forms to be postedonline and sent to college
Shortlisted students to beinterviewed by TERI, Tetra Pak and an external expert
5 day orientation programme in Pune andMumbai
Fellows to be divided in groups of 3 or 4. Each group to have a multidisciplinary outlook.
Module to be developed covering issues of sustainable development, leadership, CSR, project management
Classroom sessions interspersed with visitsto Chakan, waste dump, waste collection points, experiments in sustainability,Deluxe recycling
to understand the lifecycle of a Tetra Pak carton
Fellows to finalize and implementtheir projects
Two 1 day workshops to be held ineach city to oversee the progress of the projects; have expert sessionsand provide a forum to the fellowsto collaborate
Project Documentationand Presentation
Fellows to document their projects in adigital as well as print format as prescribed by TERI and Tetra Pak
In order for the documentation processto be complete, each fellow would berequired to (a) Write a 3000 wordreport on the projects (b) Make a 5minute film on the project (c) Reachout to 500 people through talks and presentations.
Fellows would be expected to intern for amonth at a TERI-Tetra Pak identifiedorganization/school
Fellows could also identify an organizationof their choice to intern. However, approval from TERI would be mandatory for suchan arrangement.
Successful fellows presentedwith certificates uponcompletion of their internships
