FACTS ABOUT ANONYMOUS
WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW
There are several points that we want you to know about Anonymous and thestruggle to expose Scientology, its fraudulent practices, its abuse of people andthe law, its harassment of ex-members and critics who dare speak out abouttheir destructive doctrine and practice.
1. THIS IS NOT A RELIGIOUS ISSUE!
Scientology representatives like to portray themselves to the public as a “persecuted *religiousgroup.” They claim their critics are anti-religious bigots. We are not opposed to the beliefs of theScientology organization. We are opposed to their fraud and abuses, theor abuse of the court system, and dishonest tactics the organization uses to gain acceptance incommunities.
2. WE ARE NOT ANTI-RELIGIOUS
The Anonymous movement is made up of a diverse group of people who *practice a wide variety of faiths. Jews, Muslims, Christians, Buddhists and others, *united in an effort to expose Scientologyand force them to reform. We do not believe that Scientology's "religious rights" extend to theexploitation of its members, or violating the human rights of members and critics.
3. SCIENTOLOGY IS NOT A VICTIM OF RELIGIOUS PERSECUTION
The Scientology organization reacts to criticism by crying about religious persecution. It uses thisdefense when its own abuses of human rights are exposed, and when its fraudulent front groups arecriticized, when it winds up being investigated and accused of criminal activity.
The right to practicethe religion of your choice does not include the right to violate the laws of the land!4. WE DO NOT CONCEAL OUR IDENTITIES FOR THE SAME REASON AS THE KKK!
Scientology likes to compare us to the KKK, who wore masks to hide their identities while committinghate crimes against African American citizens. However, the Scientology organization

s well awarethat we wear masks to avoid being identified by their Office of Special Affairs, their intelligencegathering agency similar in nature to the CIA. Once identified, we are likely to be stalked, harassed,and our reputations smeared by this so-called “church.”
THIS IS WHY WE WEAR MASKS
 
The Church of Scientology's primary goal isto "clear the planet". According to itspublication, “ What is Scientology?”, thismeans clearing the planet of insanity, war and crime, and in its place create acivilization in which sanity and peace exist." Yet, as we've seen, corporate lying iscommonplace, and combined with itsaggressive recruiting tactics, Scientologyproselytization takes on a disturbing twist.
