Our August Newsletter has important information about our Horse Shows, Summer Camp Dates and Lesson Schedules.
We had a beautiful sunny, cool day with a great turnout for the schooling show. Mary and Annie did an excellent job of preparing the girls for the show. Our judge Cindy said it was really difficult to judge because everyone did such an excellent job. It was a great day for a BBQ and we served up

complimentary hot dogs and hamburgers with chips, cookies and beverages. A special thanks goes out to Russell and Bob for getting our Grand Prix Arena and grounds looking so beautiful. Thank you to all our volunteers for devoting so much time to making the show a success. And finally, thank you to our parents who make this all possible for our riders. We understand that it's a devotion of time for the whole family.

Ridgefield Staff! Nancy is Ridgefield's new Office Director. She will be helping to keep our riding program going strong. She will be doing most of the Lesson Schedule changes for makeups, privates, etc. She will be helping out at the barn in various other roles as well. Say hello to Nancy next time you see her. We are excited she is on the team!

QUOTE OF THE MONTH
We are looking for raffle items for our upcoming show season. Raffle items can be St. Louis Cardinals tickets or something smaller like horse treats. These items will be raffled off during our horse shows and all the proceeds will be donated to the Eureka Mounted Search and Rescue Team.

SUMMER CAMPS 2013
WE HAVE HAD A BLAST!
parents or our adult lesson students to volunteer at our shows. We could use help in the following areas: * Selling raffle tickets and managing the raffle table * Flipping burgers and hot dogs at our concession stand * Helping hand out ribbons at our Ribbon Roost * Gate Keeper at our arena gates * Taking pictures If you can help out in any way, please contact Annie, Mary, Flo Anne or Nancy for additional information.
Last 2013 Camp Aug. 5-8

It has been a great year with camps. Everyone enjoyed meeting new friends both the 2 legged and 4 legged kind. We are excited that lots of our campers are joining our Academy. If you would like to book a spot for next years camp please contact Mary! You will have the first pick at our 2014 summer camp schedule! Next year spots will fill up quickly!
