By Brian Goessling
Over the next few weeks, Speed School welcomes incomingfreshmen during the annual orientation sessions. This is whenthe reality of college starts to hit home, as the incoming classschedule their first semester of classes and become morefamiliar with campus. Watch out for the newbies and remindthem if you see them during the Speed School run that theSackett staircase does not lead to the Vogt lab. A freshmanmistake! This summer Student Council again hosts summer sports. TheUltimate Frisbee schedule is posted on the door of JS 105.Also, for those interested,
remember
to attend the
Volleyball
(league and tourney) captains’ meeting
June 8th, 2:00 P.M.
inthe SSSC office (JS 105). This is when you will turn in teamrosters (that are on the office door) and learn more about thescheduling of games. The Volleyball season takes place June8th through July 10th. Direct any questions to Ryan Frazier,SSSC Director of Student Activities, at jrfraz05@louisville.eduFor those interested, Speed News is taking contributions. If youhave any relevant news and events that you wish to be listed(or even just comments or suggestions), please email them tome at speednews@speedcouncil.org.
