FUSTM 632 Industrial Project Industrial project of one month duration should be done during the III semester on a problem of practical relevance in an industrial concern. The student is expected to study and analyze some existing problem in the industry and suggest possible improvements/strategies and prepare the details under the supervision and guidance from the concerned officer/executive of the industrial concern. The student should submit a copy of the report and present the project work. FUSTM 633 R and D Project The student is expected to do R and D project putting into practice the contents of the paper FUSTM 631 on research methodology. The project work should be of one month duration on a research problem in an R & D center/organization under the supervision of the concerned scientist/researcher. The student should submit a copy of the report and present the project work. FUSTM 634 Dissertation (stage I ) The objective of the first stage dissertation is to identify the topic and problem for the dissertation. An exhaustive review of literature is to be done and place the problem suitably in the overall realm of research arena so that the exact gap identified. The student should have a clear idea of the objectives, tools and methodology for the problem at hand. The student must present at least two seminars regarding the project. FUSTM 641 Dissertation (stage II) Stage II must contain the detailed procedures for data collection/ survey/methods, theory and tools to be developed. The student should present the results/output and analysis of the study in at least three seminars before finalizing the report. The final report is to be prepared by incorporating the suggestions after the seminars .
