are highly reliable. Nocarbon brushes, high efficiency and
maintenance-free.
AC mains voltage fluctuations can cause equipment to behaveerratically and malfunction. Some systems may even break-down due to these fluctuations. Failure to ensure the incomingmains voltage remains stable can often result in costly equip-ment repairs.

MVSI Series
Voltage Stabilisers / Regulators util-ize the latest in Magnetic Induction technology to ensure the mainsvoltage remains constant at all times.
MVSI stabilisers, due to their individual phase sensing and con-trol, are ideal solutions for use with 100% unbalance line volt-ages or loads.
Offering fast response times and high output voltage accuracy, MVSIstabilisers have no requirements for carbon brushes and there is nocontact wear. As a result system reliability is extremely high andMVSI stabilisers are viewed as virtually maintenance free solutions. As Magnetic Induction based solutions, MVSI stabilisers utilise asimple, yet highly reliable, rotor and stator design principle to in-crease or decrease the magnitude of the voltage in a series trans-former winding, thereby delivering and maintaining a constant outputvoltage. The arrangement is similar to a motor, but the difference isthat the rotor does not rotate continuously. Its maximum rotation isonly 180 degrees. The magnetic coupling between the rotor (theshunt winding) and stator (series winding) will cause the magnitudeof the voltage in the series winding to increase or decrease, depend-ing on the angle or position of the rotor to the stator. For example, when the input voltage drops the rotor will rotate clockwise to suchan angle to make up for the drop in voltage, rotating anti-clockwiseto correct for a high voltage.
