July 1 Brand Imperator (Netherlands, Dunkler Bock) Pours a rather large head, a little bitter-sweetness to it, light finish and easy to drink! 7/10 July 2 BrouwerijTij Zatte (Netherlands, Abbey Tripel) Very forward aroma of fruits on the palate, yeasty, sweet, strong alcohol presence at 8% but easily drinkable! 8/10 Palm Speciale (Belgium, Belgian Pale Ale) Mild hops, a little honey sweetness, light bodied with a dry after taste! 7/10 Amarillo Brouwerij De Molen (Netherlands, Double IPA) Low carbonation, bold citrus hops with a lingering grapefruit aroma and thick body! 7.5/10 July 3 Affligem Dubbel (Belgium, Abbey Dubbel) Sweet, malty aroma that is thick, fruity and a little spicy! 7.5/10 Ghost Ship Pale Ale (England, Pale Ale) Low carbonated, citrusy aroma, light bodied with an extremely long and lingering grapefruit/bitter after taste! 6.5/10 July 4 Saxo Brasserie Caracole (Belgium, Belgian Strong Ale) This ale had a strong fruit presence with some yeasty aroma, medium amount of citrus hops blended into a nice, dry finish! 7/10 Matilda Bay Redback Original (Australia, German Kristalweizen) Banana aroma with some light hops, sweet, wheaty, refreshing and definitely a summer session beer! 7.5/10 July 5 Mahou Cinco Estrellas (Spain, Lager) Very light and watery, consumed it on a hot day so refreshing in that regard but virtually no taste! 4.5/10 Abbott Ale (England, Pale Ale) Light to medium bodied pale ale with hints of orange at the start with some caramel aroma blended in, sweet with some nice hops and a tangy after taste! 7/10 July 6 Youngs Ram Rod (England, ESB) Caramel, toasty malts, soft bitter aroma with a dry finish! 6/10 Meantime London Lager (England, Lager) Not much going on here, light sweetness, watery, overall quite bland! 5/10 Budweiser Budvar (Czechvar) (Czech Republic, Pilsner) Very crisp with light sweetness, clean session beer with a beautiful smooth, after taste! 7.5/10 Jul y 7 Columbus Bandit (Ohio, IPA) Extremely strong grapefruit aroma bursts on to the palate, a little earthy with a long, lingering bitter after taste! 8/10 July 8 Breckenridge 471 Small Batch IPA (Colorado, Double IPA) Fruity, tangy, citrusy aroma that is a touch sweet but for 9.2% is rather light bodied, aggressive hops and a pleasant bitter after taste! 8/10

Fat Heads Head Hunter IPA (Ohio, IPA) What a fantastic surprise out of Ohio a strong, bitter presence and a sea of citrus bursts on to the palate with a vengeance , hoppy, light bodied, very easy drinking and a brilliant, lingering after taste! 8.5/10 July 9 Rahr and Sons Texas Red (Texas, Amber Lager) I have to admit this was a nice change from the hop crazy IPAs for one night. Crisp, smooth, refreshing, some sweet malts with a tinge of rye and caramel, great session beer! 8/10 (No July 10 as I skipped a day flying back from the USA to Australia)

July 11 Stoudts Double IPA (Pennsylvania, Double IPA) Full bodied, strong, sweet grapefruit aroma and also a little earthy with a tangy, bitter after taste! 8/10 July 12 Troegenator Doublebock (Pennsylvania, Doppelbock) Dark fruits detectable in the aroma, thick, sweet with a little toasty finish! 7.5/10 July 13 5 Rabbit 5 Grass (Illinois, Pale Ale) Spicy, grassy aroma, a little citrus, a little bitter, light bodied but overall a little bland with no really significant presence of hops! 6/10 Sleeping Giant IPA (Australia, IPA) A nice light mix of grapefruit and pine, relatively bitter, clean, light bodied and great for a hot day! 7/10 Lord Nelson Trafalgar Pale Ale (Australia, Pale Ale)Definite citrus aroma straight on to palate, light malts, nice clean, dry and medium bitterness great session ale! 7.5/10 4 Pines Kolsch (Australia, Kolsch)Piney, lemon aroma, light bodied, relatively smooth with a crisp finish! 6.5/10 July 14 Snake Dog IPA (Maryland, IPA) Strong, bitter grapefruit aroma, hoppy, medium bodied with a lingering citrus after taste! 7.5/10 July 15 Diesel Punk (California, IPA) Fizzy, orange peel aroma that is medium bodied with a pleasant, hoppy finish! 7/10 McLaren Vale IPA (Australia, IPA) Nice, orange aroma bursting on to the palate, not too dissimilar to a Pacific North West IPA, a little sweetness at first with a slightly bitter finish! 7/10 July 16 Feral Hop Hog (Australia, IPA) Standout performer! Great blend of citrus and pine, smooth with a dry, bitter finish! 8/10 My Wifes Bitter (Australia, Bitter) Roasted malt and caramel sweetness, well balanced with a nice, smooth texture! 7/10 Balmain Original Pale Ale (Australia, Pale Ale) Nice fruity aroma with lemon, orange and pineapple, mild bitterness, refreshing and a definite session beer! 7/10

July 17 Dundee IPA (New York, IPA) Taste is light caramel with some grapefruit bitterness, hoppy and a dry finish! 7/10 Mallee Bull Strong Ale (Australia, Amber Ale) Robust, sweet, caramel roasted malts with a light body, mild bitterness and a nice, dry finish! 7.5/10 July 18 Karl Strauss Tower 10 IPA (California, IPA) Nice floral, citrus aroma, medium hop bitterness, crisp, refreshing and a clean finish! 7.5/10 July 19 Kosciuszko Pale Ale (Australia, Pale Ale) Sweetish and malt driven, fruity aroma, light bodied and a crisp, clean finish! 6.5/10 Sierra Nevada Torpedo Extra IPA (California, IPA) Great mix of citrus, pine and lemon aromas with a quality bitter after taste! 8/10 July 20 New Norcia Pax Abbey Ale (Australia, Abbey Tripel) Sweet, dark fruit aroma with a little spice, the 7% ABV is hidden well with a rich, long and sweet finish! 7/10 July 21 Stormy Winters Morning Rise (Australia, Oatmeal IPA) Smooth, toasted cereal malts, nice little hoppy feel and a nutty finish! 7.5/10 Thirsty Crow Charlies Pitbull (Australia, Imperial Stout) Pours a delicious thick, creamy head with a chocolate richness, light malts with a smooth, oaky finish! 7.5/10 Monteiths Doppelbock Winter Ale (New Zealand, Doppelbock) Sweet, toasted malts with a dark fruit aroma, rich and a smooth roasted finish! 7/10 Brooklyn Grand Gru (New York, Belgian Witbier) A big malt and hop presence, spicy, sugary with a banana aroma, medium bodied and a nice, dry finish! 8/10 The Grifter Mr Midnight (Australia, Witbier) Light body, a little banana, spicy aroma but a little flat and overall a little weak! 6/10 Doctors Orders Intravenous Elixir (Australia, Belgian Black IPA) Solid bitterness, malty and a noticeable Scottish oak barrel flavor! 8/10 July 22 Endeavour 2012 Hop Vintage Growers Ale (Australia, Pale Ale) Light malt aroma with some caramel sweetness, tastes more like a European Pilsner! 6.5/10 July 23 Melbourne Bitter (Australia, Bitter) Terrible! Sour aroma, watery, thin laced and a little sweet but quite unpleasant! 3/10 July 24 BrewCult Hop Zone (Australia, Pale Ale) Bitter pine and citrus hops, a little earthy, light bodied and great session ale! 7/10 Stone & Wood Jasper Ale (Australia, Altbier) Poured a dark copper, thick, rich caramel malts, a little sweet with a nice, dry finish! 7/10

Young Henrys Real Ale (Australia, Bitter) Nice initial sweet taste, well balanced, medium bodied and similar to a lager with a crisp, light bitter finish! 6.5/10 July 25 Mountain Goat Double IPA (Australia, Double IPA) Great Aussie IPA! Sweet citrus on the palate but well balanced bitterness and a delicious, long, dry finish! 8/10 July 26 Cintra (Portugal, Pilsner) Unusual coppery and rustic taste, watery, very little after taste and overall very bland! 4.5/10 July 27 Moo Brew (Australia, Pilsner) Spicy, fruity hop bitterness, smooth and light bodied! 7/10 Redoak Belgian Witbier (Australia, Belgian White) Light bodied with a zesty lemon mouth feel, also some hint of honey! 6.5/10 Redoak All Day Breakfast (Australia, Wheat Beer) Tropical fruits, noticeable passionfruit flavor, hoppy, a little rich with a malty, sweet finish! 7/10 Redoak Irish Red Ale (Australia, Irish Ale) A little sweet with rich, toasted caramel malt flavors with quite a pleasant, bitter after taste! 7/10 Redoak Organic Pale Ale (Australia, Pale Ale) Quite sweet and fruity, definitely a session beer, maybe a little watery with a light hop presence! 6/10 Redoak Winter in the Rye (Australia, Winter Lager) Rich, roasted caramel malt falvors, sweet but a nicely balanced bitterness and a dry, crisp mouth feel! 7/10 July 28 Quiet Deeds (Australia, Pale Ale) Sweet and malty with a delicious caramel flavor bouncing off the palate and nice amount of hop presence! 7.5/10 July 29 James Squire Nine Tales (Australia, Amber Ale) Smooth and malty with some toasted caramel aroma detectable and a refreshing, slightly nutty finish! 7/10 July 30 Acme California IPA (California, IPA) Slightly fizzy with a little pine and citrus hops initially, medium bodied and quite a hoppy finish! 7/10 July 31 White Rabbit Dark Ale (Australia, Brown Ale) Roasted, coffee malts, thin body, some earthy tones and a light, bitter finish! 6.5/10
