Starting two new, entirely dierent worshipservices is exciting to many and may also bechallenging to some. It will certainly challengeus to step outside o our normal routine. Thisis what Todd Rhodes wrote about in his recentMondayMorningInsight.com newsletter underthe title o
The Comfort Zone: Stepping Out todo Extraordinary Things.
He said:“I love it when I hear o churches and organiza-tions that are stepping out in aith to achieve thingsthat most people would think were impossible. In the last couple o weeks, I’ve ound numerousexamples o people jumping way out o the ‘com-ort zone’ to attempt huge things or the Kingdom. Here are just a couple that come to mind.“Liberty University recently announced aninitiative to plant 500 new churches in the nextve years. Imagine… 500 brand new churches, with resh vitality and resh vision or reaching adying world!“In a totally dierent part o the country,Pastor John Bishop and Living Hope Church inVancouver, WA recently announced plans to startsix brand new campuses ON EASTER. That’s sixbrand new churches starting in just one Sunday!(Living Hope already maxes out SEVEN weekendservices at their main campus). This God-sizedvision will become a reality next month… and theresult will be many people coming to aith!“What have you done that caused you to stepout o your comort zone lately? I love this quoterom Perry Noble: ‘God couldn’t give a RIP aboutyour comort–He simply wants you to be obedi-ent…and at times that means acing things head onthat scare you and completely take you out o yourcomort zone.’Maybe God has given you a dream that scares youto death. Perhaps you’ve been staying in your comortzone ar too long. Maybe God doesn’t want you tostart 500 churches in ve years; or six new campusesin one day… but what DOES he want you to do?”The announcement o new targeted worshipservices at First Federated Church opens up thepossibility o several exciting opportunities. Ser-vices will oer dierent worship styles, environ-ments/settings, and elements such as drama, video, dialogues, and much more. Multiple service stylesgive you the opportunity to invite your co-work-ers, neighbors, riends, and amily members to achurch that will allow them to be open to placingtheir trust in Jesus or eternal lie.Multiple services also oer increased opportu-nities or you to make a contribution to ministryright here on Sunday morning. What DOES Godwant you to do? Additional services give us theopening to engage more people in taking an activerole in many important ministries on Sundaymorning. Essentially, we are immediately doublingour volunteer ministry beginning April 6. And weare doubling the opportunity available or you touse your God-given gits and experiences to pro-vide excellent worship experiences or our guests.Depending on which time you choose to attend, here are a number o ways you can join in helpingus oer God-honoring worship services:
