Chapter 10The rest of the day was just a blur. When we pulled up at the farm we were inspected forbites just the driver promised. Two people were bitten and they were shot just as promised. Thebaby in my arms was about 2-3 weeks old and not a single blemish on his little body. I cried andcried this was not right at all. I eventually met Gary and Mark and ate some food. Found a quiteroom upstairs curled up with the baby in my arms rose laid to my left and Sophia laid to my rightand we passed out.The dreams came again this time even worse than the first all of my family friend’sneighbors everyone was standing there in front of me dead. I was running from them they wereyelling at me that I could not run for much longer. It was like one of those dreams that you seemto be running through mud. Then I awoke Rose was shaking me I looked at her and she looked atme all she said was “I have bad dream about Daddy to.” I grabbed her and cried until I fell back to sleep.My guess is that I slipped into a deep depression coma because then next thing I recall iswaking up and seeing James sitting next to me. I looked at him he was crying. I grabbed his handand he jumped up and ran away from me. I didn’t understand. He looked at me and said “Wethought you had died you slept for 3 days straight. An hour ago we checked on you and could notfeel a pulse. I thought you were dead. Wait are you alive?” I was alive very much so after theresident dentist looked me over and declared me alive but then he noted that most of time hedealt with teeth.I immediately went and saw my kids and caught up on the situation including my newaddition. Which Amanda named him Andy and took up to taking care of him since she was used
 
to taking care of her sister. They stocked up five busses with stuff and left enough room for thepeople currently on the farm. So now that I was alive they wanted me to drive the empty bus foranyone they save along the way. I agreed especially since I have not done much being since Iwas almost dead or something. We had to move out the next day because the undead weregetting really close to farm. This meant we would not be safe for long. I was really tired of running what I really wanted to do was be safe. I guess that was the goal we were trying toaccomplish.Later after eating and showering I decided to catch up on who was who and hear theirstories. It was funny some people went through hell and yet they still want you to know theywent through hell. I was more than willing to listen. The driver had not realized there was aproblem until all of his staff started calling in sick. A few stuck around and they were his currentgoons. There was a wreak up the road and the driver went out to see if he could help and that iswhen he realized that all was not okay. They stayed here in the farm house until they realizedthat this was not going to be safe. They devised the plan to make a castle but what is a castle with4 men. Then one day while feeding the chickens one of the farm hand had been bitten. He ran tothe house then they realized that the dead did not like him anymore. Then the Van plan wasformulated. The hand was getting sicker and sicker with the minute. So they decided he could gointo the town gain the undead’s attention and they could save as many people from the town asthey could.Now we are here contemplating on going around saving people and building a castle.That sounds like lots of fun. I talked to a few other people and listened to their stories they werebasically all the same some person not paying attention gets a close call and then get scared andlocks themselves in their house. I guess it is a good thing most of these people were from the
 
small town of Santaquin rather than a big town like me and then we would have more interestingstories.The rest of the day was filled with playing with my kids and bonding with this new baby.James came by and told me that they had planned to head out the next morning because theundead were getting closer and closer. I was visited my Gary and Mark stopped by and informedme that they would be riding with me on my bus to weed out the infected people. Though Garydid not think that he had the balls to shoot anyone if they asked Mark said he would if he took alittle of his special medicine. That was comforting I was going to have a guy high on weedshooting people who may be infected. What happens if he misses or shoots a leg off? He mightnot have the response time to shoot again. Well I might need to carry a gun just in case.The rest of the day went by slowly and strangely enough I could not sleep. I laid in thebed listening to the kids snoring next to me every couple of hours the baby would wake up andwant to eat. Lucky that a lady named Sue had grabbed a couple extra cans of formula for herbaby. She was trying to see if she could get her milk to come in again because it was hardenough to feed two babies with formula. It would just be easier to suckle at least her own baby.If she could get her milk in she said she would try and see if she could feed both babies. Thoughshe could not take care of both of the babies due to her back problem and the fact she could notrun as fast with two babies. It was a sad thing we had to even consider the fact that this worldwas overrun by dead things trying to eat you.The next morning everyone was running around getting things ready to leave. The planwas to head south to the cabin stopping in every town along the way saving everyone we could.Also we had to stop at secure places to collect anything that might be needed food, clothes,
