Portugal wins three awards on the4
International Advertising Festival of Maputo
In the fourth edition of Mozambique’s International Advertising Festival, dJomba, a Portuguesenew media agency, was recognized by the jury, receiving three awards in the Internet category:
Gold Shell for the campaign “Mexe com a Web” to Nokia Portugal
Silver Shell for the campaign “Mostra o Leão” to Sporting Clube de Portugal
Bronze Shell for the campaign “Cria o Teu Caminho” to Nokia PortugalMiguel Falcato dJomba’s Creative Director, attended the event and emphasizes the overallquality of the works at contest and also the excellent organization. These are the main reasonsthat are turning this festival into one of the most important of sub-Saharan Africa.Organized by AMEP - Associação Moçambicana de Empresas de Marketing, Publicidade eRelações Públicas (Mozambique Association of Marketing, Advertising and Public RelationsCompanies), this year’s edition had the participation of agencies from Mozambique, Angola,Maurice islands, South Africa, Portugal, Kenya, Namibia and Reunion islands.The works were evaluated by an international jury, formed by Mozambicans, Angolans, South-Africans, Brazilians and Portuguese advertising professionals.In the last year’s edition, dJomba had already received awards for the campaigns: TV Compal,Dia da Fruta and Fresh Power.
