The
It is amazing to me the kind of winter we have been having this year. It is the winter Ihad hoped we would eventually have after the last two we endured. It has been chil-ly some days, but it has been sunny often and days which were downright warm!In the chill of the winter, there is nothing more amazing than the surprising days ofwarmth. Last year when we were going through the “Not A Fan” material togetherwe started six week Life Groups which helped the study. If you were a part of agroup I know you were blessed to be in it. We live in a society which is most oftenspiritually cold or downright dead and we nd ourselves chilled in the spirit as wewalk through this life. But what I found, and most of you found, was a warmth of fel-lowship, care, and companionship which occurred when you gathered together. There was a belonging, a place for you, a spiritual family. So great was this warmth and friendship that I have had many of you ask me whenthe Life Groups were ready to start up again. Well the answer is: NOW! Over thenext couple of weeks we will have sign ups again for those who want to be a part of aLife Group. This is a great opportunity to get involved in the lives of some peoplewho will share life with you, care for you, and challenge you. If you were not in-volved in them last fall, I encourage you to come and plug into a Life Group this win-ter and follow us along a journey of exploration through “The Story” God is telling.Life Groups are where you have the best opportunity to forge friendships of faith thatwill truly last an eternity. I know there is a place for you in our groups. The questionis: are you ready to take your place?
