urn line, power steering cooler, -6AN to 12x1.00 adapter, -6AN to 14x1.5 adapter
PARTS NEEDED:
Small hose clamps, Genuine Honda Power Steering Fluid or compatible, RSX-S power steering pump, stockreturn hard line connected to rack.
TOOLS NEEDED:
Adjustable wrench, 10mm socket, flathead screwdriver, snips or razor blade to cut hose
1. Mounting the reservoir.
a.
EG & DC Chassis
 i. The reservoir was designed to be mounted on the upper radiator support railbehind the passenger side headlight using the stock RSX mounting bracketincluded. Mounting the reservoir here allows you to use the stock suction hose tofeed the pump. You may mount the reservoir in a different spot if your engine baysetup does not allow you to mount it there but you will then need to run your ownhose from the bottom of the reservoir to the pump inlet.
b.
EK Chassis
 i. There is not much room in the passenger side engine bay on an EK chassis so wechose to mount the reservoir on the driver side of the engine bay. As the includedsuction hose will not fit when the reservoir is mounted here, you will need to runsome hose from the reservoir to your pump.
2. Mounting the P.S. Cooler.
a.
Where do I mount the cooler?
i. There are cable mounting ties included with the cooler so it can be easily mountedto your radiator. If you do not have room on your radiator or want to mount thecooler in a different location, just make sure there will be airflow moving across the

fins while driving.
b.
When mounting, which way should the ports be facing?
i. The easiest way to mount the cooler, generally, is with the ports facing the samedirection as your reservoir. For example, if you have en ek chassis with thereservoir on the driver side, mount the cooler with the ports facing the driver side ofthe vehicle. Since the cooler will always be closer to the reservoir, this will helpprevent the hose from becoming kinked as it will most likely be a much shorterhose.
3. Installation of fittings and lines
a.
Hybrid Racing Power Steering Pump Fitting
i. Included in the power steering kits are HR power steering pump fittings which givesmore hood clearance. There will be a -8orb to -6AN adapter attached to this fittingwhich is NOT tight. You will need to put a small amount of oil or grease around theo-ring before tightening to prevent it from tearing.
b.
Power Steering Rack Adapters
i. There will be a -6AN to 12x1.00 adapter and -6AN to 14x1.5 adapter included inthe kits. Depending on which year and model Civic or Integra you have, one ofthese adapters will be used to attach your feed line to your steering rack.
c.
Feed Line
i. The feed line will have a 45 degree -6AN fitting on one end and a straight -6ANfitting on the other. Attach the end with the 45 degree fitting to your steering rackusing the appropriate included adapter and leave loose so it can twist freely whilerouting the other end of the hose through the engine bay. You will then need toattach the straight end to the pump fitting. The hose should be long enough toroute against the firewall away from the header. The hose should never be closeto or in contact with the header/exhaust manifold. After you have routed andconnected the feed line, you can now tighten both ends of the line.
**Note** On an EGpower steering rack, there will be 3 holes, 1 for the feed line and 2 for return. If looking directlyat the 3 holes from the front of the car, the feed line will be the bottom right hole. The mainreturn line is the top hole, this is the line that must run through your cooler then back to thereservoir. The secondary return line is the bottom left hole and must be ran directly back to thereservoir.

d.
Suction Line
i. Included in the kit is a stock RSX suction hose which can be used when mountingthe reservoir on the passenger side behind the head light. If you choose to mountyour reservoir in a different location, you will need to route the hose away fromsharp edges and get the correct amount of hose from your local parts store.
