The nature of hide/skin or Jhilli (parchment) is very much different frompaper, which cannot hold colors easily. After repeated trials of oneand a half years Mumtaz Ali succeeded in 2003 and came up with his newly developed, tried andtested methods of making colors stable on Parchment and Animal Hide/Skin. With combining fewingredients to the color in the right quantity he is now able to produce items without any color fading or color cracking complains. The three ingredients which make his colors reliable on parchment andanimal skin are 'Gandhak', 'Chandan' and 'Neela Thotha'.
