Evaluation; The genre of this music video is indie/pop. You can tell this buy the genre characteristics, and what theyre wearing. The song is upbeat, and has a story to it. You can see throughout the video, that there is a story. I think itd be good to recreate something like this, so you know you have a story to follow, and you know what needs to happen throughout the video, which may make it easier to film and tell the actors staring in your music video what to do. Also with editing the music video, it would be easier again as youre following a story line so you know what needs to go where. However, all of the special effects in this music video we wouldnt be able to achieve. Overall I think, the indie pop genre, interests me, and Id like to do this genre for my own music video.

Evaluation; The genre of this music video is pop, R&B. The songs got an upbeat tempo, and the mise en scene would be easy to find and use. I like the idea of using a white back drop, and changing the colour of it for different shots. Although this video doesnt have a big story line to it, and a lot of the lyrics would be hard to match up to it. I think Id find this harder to recreate than a narrative story, as with a narrative story, the characters will no what to react but with a music video like this, its harder.

Ed Sheeran; The A team.

The song The A team is about a crack addicted prostitute. Ed Sheeran wrote the song after visiting a homeless shelter and hearing peoples stories about the lives people live. Class A Team links in with the class A drug, crack. Genre; Indie folk. The music video was published on April 22nd, 2010.

No black and white Long shot. colour, her shadow is in the sky, with the blue sky and sun. City buildings.

Angels to die you could relate this to that shes died. Also the music from the beginning is replayed at the end of the frame.

Evaluation; The genre of the music video is indie pop. The song again, has a upbeat tempo. Ed Sheeran has used the idea of not presenting himself in the music video, and there is not any singing/lip syncing involved. I like this idea, as you can show the story behind the song more if the video, however theirs more acting involved. This would be fairly easy to recreate, or even take different key frames and ideas from this video. The video is also in monochrome throughout, giving a darkening vibe.
