Blessed by Baby Bottles
The following is a testimony from one of ourhigh school students, Sherri Nehls, who attendsNorwalk High School.“The Baby Bottle Blessing is something thatis really important to me. On Mother’s Day I wasone of the volunteers who helped pass out thebaby bottles. I started with two boxes and wasdisappointed to see that a whole box was still leftat the end of both services. At first I was planning on taking one,or maybe two bottles, but after seeing all the bottles left I decidedto take ten. People gave me funny looks leaving church that dayand no one thought I was going to be able to fill all ten babybottles by Father’s Day. By the end of the first week I alreadyhad seven bottles full. I told my friends what I was raising moneyfor and the next day they all started bringing me change. After afew days I decided to take a bottle toschool. I went to as many teachers asI could from the middle school, 8/9building, and high school explainingto them what the Baby Bottle Bless-ing was. All but one teacher donatedmoney. It felt great to know I wasraising money for a good cause andthat I was helping others.”Have you done your part tosupport crisis pregnancy centers?Remember to fill your bottles andreturn them by Father’s Day, June 21.
