District GDP of India, brings out the only comprehensive estimates on Gross Domestic Product at district level for all states and UTs of the country. Estimates are provided for aggregate GDP, Primary sector (Agriculture, Mining, Fishing, Forestry), Secondary sector (Construction, Electricity, Gas & Water Supply, Manufacturing), Tertiary sector (Transport, Storage & Communication, Trade, Hotel & Restaurant, Public Administration, Banking & Insurance, Others ) – 3 major sectors and 12 sub-sectors of the economy.
The economic indicators covered include labour productivity, credit to district domestic product ratio in each sector and more. All the GDP related data that you need is presented in this product.
Coverage is for seven fiscal years starting from 2000-01 up until 2007-08.
