Look uponthem in pity, because they areignorant of thy truth…Takeaway pride of intellect and blindness of heart, and revealto them the surpassing beauty and power of thy Son JesusChrist. Convince them of theirsin in rejecting the atonementof the only Savior. Give moralcourage to those who lovethee, that they may boldly confess thy name…Hasten theday of religious freedom inTurkey, Arabia, Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan adn North Africa.Send forth reapers where theharvest is ripe, and faithfulplowmen to break furrows inlands still neglected. May thetribes of Africa and Malaysianot fall a prey to Islam but be won for Christ. Bless theministry of healing in every hospital, and the ministry of love at every church andmission. May all Muslimchildren in mission schools beled to Christ and accept him astheir personal Savior…Strengthen converts, restore backsliders, and give all those who labor among Muslims thetenderness of Christ, so that bruised reeds may becomepillars of his church, andsmoking flaxwicks burningand shining lights. Make barethine arm, O God, and show thy power. All ourexpectation is from thee…Father, the hour has come;glorify thy Son in the Muslim World, and fulfill through himthe prayer of Abraham thy friend, O, that Ishmael mightlive before thee.

Osama Bin Laden received this teaching as a youngster. Wahhabism's founder, Mohammed bin Abd al-Wahhab, was an Arabian cleric(1703-1792) who wanted to reform Islam to bring it to conform to theteachings of the Koran. He moved to the town of Diriya and formed an alliance with Mohammed bin Saud. Saud made Wahhabism the official religion of thenation state that we now call Saudi Arabia. Wahhabi thinking has controlledSaudi Arabia for more than two centuries.Zealous Saudi religious police have detained Shi'ite Muslims until they signeddocuments renouncing their form of Islam, according to a May 25th articlein "BBC News." Recently the Saudi government said public prosecutors wouldtake over the job of enforcing moral codes. Will this help curb religiouspersecution when all have received education to hate everyone except Wahabbis?Pray for the Wahhabi Muslims to learn about the faith of love - faith in the God who identifies Himself as Love. Ask Love to show Himself to these spiritually needy people. Pray that the excesses of Wahhabism will prompt thousands of Muslims to look to Christ for answers.-A K 1 Kings 8:60"
