WHAT IS THE FIELD OF HONOR?
The Tri-County Field of Honor will be held to
honor our heroes. 3’ X 5’ American Flags will be strategically displayed
for 8 days and will receive proper flag etiquette at all
times . The Field of Honor is an opportunity to honor our
heroes who have served, or are currently serving, in our
military, as well as Firefighters, EMS , Law enforcement
and First Responders. To celebrate and honor those who defended our
freedoms and reflect on the sacrifices of these brave
men and women. The Tri-County Field of Honor will be located on
the grounds of the Armstrong Air & Space Museum
and will be free to the public. Last day to pre-order flags July 1, 2009
The flags will be displayed July 13th - July 20th 2009. Individuals or businesses may purchase a 3’ x 5’
flag in honor of their hero that will be displayed on the museum’s
grounds with a tag representing the person and the
sponsor which can be picked up on the 22nd of July and
taken home. For an additional $5.00 the flag only can be
mailed to you.
Volunteers and groups wishing to help are welcome.
