Obituary
Rosalie Nicole Smith was
granted her angel wings
on June 12th, 2012. Her
final days were spent
surrounded by family and
friends that Rosalie had
touched in some small
way throughout her
short, yet very
memorable life.
Rosalie's life would seem
too short to many, but
those who were touched
by her understood that
the quality of existence far exceeds the quantity of time in
which one lives. Her gentle smile could melt the hearts of
those around her.
Rosalie was an amazing little girl who led us to believe that
each day is a blessing and an opportunity to create lasting
memories. She could spend hours rocking in her favorite
chair while cuddling close to those she loved so much. She
loved ballet, fairies, princesses, butterflies, playing Mommy,
cooking, kittens, and dancing.
With Rosalie's passing we remind others that her life is one to
be celebrated. Although we will miss her every day, especially
her winning smile. She will forever remain in our hearts.
Through her teachings about life, we were able to create

wonderful memories and it has been a privilege to be her

parents.
Rosalie leaves behind many wonderful caregivers that
provided love and support that enhanced her quality of life.
All of these special people, too numerous to mention,
provided Rosalie with love and dignity in her life and also in
her death.
There is a special place in our hearts for Rosalie's best friend
"Dr. Chris;" because of her continual dedication, love and
support, Rosalie was able to survive some of her toughest
medical challenges.
Rosalie is survived by her loving parents, Craig and Jennifer
Smith of Raymond Texas; sister Meghan Smith; paternal
grandparents Bob (Pop-Pop) and Gerrie (Grammie) Smith of
Kennebunk Maine; uncle Jeff Smith of Phoenix Arizona; and
cousins Alex and Eric Smith.
She was predeceased by her maternal
grandparents Albert and Jean
Scroggins and by one of her long
term nurses Kathy G.

God Saw You

God saw you getting tired, when a cure was not to be.
So he wrapped his arms around you, and whispered, come to me.
You didnt deserve what you went through, so he gave you rest.
Gods garden must be beautiful, he only takes the best.
And when I saw you sleeping, so peaceful and free from pain
I could not wish you back to suffer that again.
