BRAHMI SCRIPT ON INDUSCIVILIZATION COINS – THE LAST NAILON THE COFFIN OF THE ARYANINVASION THEORY- With a note on the surveyof Prithudak

( This is an account of Brahmi Script found on Indus Civilization Coins fromHimachal Pradesh with a survey of an important Vedic town in Haryana by Jha.The work is dedicated to Dr Jha and Rajaram for their unparallel contribution tothe knowledge of Indus Civilization. Dr Amartya Sen, Nobel prize winner criticizes, Jha and Rajaram for disturbing the settled"available evidence", by saffronizing the Indus civilization and the "non observableriver” called Sarasvati river, in his book (Sen, 2005 ). At the outset Dr Sen is confrontedby the difficulty of defining Vedic Mathematics what spread on the banks of Sarasvati.Particularly it is very difficult for him to understand Vedic Mathematics, when Europewas in the dark ages. Dr Sen waited for 2500 years with Pythogorus to consign the ideaof Vedic Mathematics, written in Sanskrit much earlier by Boudhayan and Katyayan.This is one just problem of Dr Amartya Sen like scholars.In this piece of work, new evidence is being added, which has never been explained orcaught into the attention of scholars working on this great civilization. It shall be the lastnail in the coffin of the Aryan invasion theory. This evidence is related to the use of Brahmi and Kharosthi scripts on Indus civilization coins. The Brahmi and Kharosthi textsgive the name of a kingdom, which is mentioned in the Mahabharat. This piece of evidence was discovered by Dr Jha, during his last time. But, I have been unable to knowhis final observation, as he didn’t mentioned any note on it except that, he marked at oneplace “Brahmi of the Kuninda kingdom is a part of the Harappan civilization”Earlier Dr Jha, had proved (Jha,1996) that the Indus civilization has relation withMahabharat, then people like Witzel, whose brain child is Dr Sen, laughed at his work with a false charge of "computer enhancement" theory of a horse seal, for draggingIndus age into Mahabharat age. Though Witzel’s bogus interpretation was enough toconfuse the people like Dr Sen, who never went through the original work of Dr Jha andRajaram, but just adopted what Witzel said, without crosschecking the material. 2failed to recognize that the so called “computer enhancement” of Jha & Rajaram’s“Hindutva horse” had been scanned by Dr Jha himself from that tiny “Hindutva horse”what E. Mackaey had published in, the “Further Excavations in Mohenjodaro”. Dr Jhahad zoomed some four times, the original tiny bad photograph. There is no computerenhancement. But, this created such a sensation throughout the South East Asia, that itstarted shaking the concept that the civilization unknown from horse knows, Rigveda orMahabharat. It is required to be deeply introspected by scholars very honestly whetherHarappan civilization was aware with the Mahabharat or not?Dr Jha’s hard belief to ignore people like Witzel was the reading of the Indus Seals aswell as the symbolism of Unicorn, which are the most important discoveries made by DrJha in connecting Indus seals with the
Shanti Parva
of the Mahabharata, which containsdescriptions of at least three of the most commonly occurring images on the Indus seals,the Magnificent Bull, the One-Horned Creature, and the Creature with three body parts,which appear in the
 Mokshadharma Parva
of the
Shanti Parva
as “
Viddhi mamvrishamuttamam” Ekasringah divyadarshanah, Trikakut tena vikhyata .
Latter Dr Jhaexplained that how the creature of Unicorn has a composite meaning of horse and bull inVedic literatures ( Jha & Jha, 2006 , Web ).Thus Dr Jha, through passage in
 Mahabharat 
traced
 Nighantu
written on Indus seals. Any relation of Indus civilizationwith Mahabharat lifts the curtain of Witzel’s own world.For British India as well as the Marxist the Aryan invasion theory is a system of commonbelief to rule the nation. A belief that, India is the land of the invaders, right fromAryans, Mughals and then the Britishers. So Mughals and the Britishers have justifiedright to rule the nation like the Aryans, which invaded India in 1500 BC. This historicalfact is shamefully ornamented by Witzel or Dr Amartya Sen. The opinion has beenshared by Jha and Rajaram in these words:“The current model of ancient India based on the Aryan invasion contains serious errorsrelating to ancient dates that have been exposed by science. It is stated that the Aryansentered in India in 1500 BC and composed the Rigveda in c. 1200 BC. Archaeologymakes this impossible. The Rigveda describes an ancient river called the Sarasvati. It isnow known that the Sarasvati had dried up completely by 1900 BC. In fact, it was thedrying up of the Sarasvati river system, and not any invasion that was the main cause of the loss of the Harappan Civilization.” (Jha & Rajaram, 2000, p 19)
EPILOGUE:
In 1996, Dr Jha published “Vedic Glossary on Indus Seals”, which briefly explained themethodology and readings of more than 100 seals. He booked to evidence the relation of Mahabharat passage written on Indus seals. However, The Deciphered Indus Script,written in collaboration with N S Rajaram, is a more comprehensive exposition of themethodology, readings, and interpretations on the Indus civilization. This demonstratedon the basis of Kali age that the period of Mahabharat and the Indus civilization are
 
3contemporary. Dr Jha had calculated the age of the Indus civilization and Mahabharat at3100 BCIn the Himalayan kingdoms we have found numerous Indus civilization coins of silverand copper, which are written in Brahmi and Kharosthi. The text of the Brahmi as well asKharosthi inscriptions reveal a name of the kingdom which is mentioned in Mahabharat.It again shows that the Indus civilization is related with the Mahabharat period what DrJha has proved earlier by connecting certain passages of Mahabharat mentioned on theIndus seals.The so called, Indus civilization coins with Brahmi script are the missing link betweenIndus script and the Brahmi script. This shows the famous Indus symbolism. Here theUnicorn and the meditating horned deity have been shown in reverse and obverseposition. The meditating horned deity symbol has been shown in grid with clear cutHarappan horn sign placed on the icon head. The symbolism in Unicorn side is also veryclear. Though, when it was discovered, it gave an impression of deer. But,this icon ispure Harappan Unicorn and is not deer. Any body can compare the tail side of thecreature which is similar to the bushy tail of the Unicorn and deer tail always remainsvery short and small.In the coin ( See image 1, 2 and 3) word

has been used, which reciprocates tothe word
Kulinda
in the Vedic record. This is documented in the Mahabharat in this way :
Purvam kuninda vishaye vase chakre mahiptindhananjayo mahabahur natitivren karmana ( II.23.13)
This
Kuninda
republic is also mentioned in the
Vishnu Puran
, and the
 Markandey Puran
.In the
Vishnu Purana
the Kuninda is named as
Kulindopatyaka
. This is the modern hillarea of Jagadhari and Yamuna nagar area in Himachal Pradesh from where Sarasvatiflows to the downhill. The Brahmi inscription on the coin gives following texts.
" Rajnah kunindasya amoghbhutisya maharajasya"
The reverse side mentions Kharosthi text, but written in Indus style The remarkablefeature which has been noted down is the tendency to drop
visarg
, as seen on latter Industexts and the tendancy to substitute Ya, which reads"
 Ra(j)na kunindasa amoghabhutisa maharajasa
"In this text we see in
"Rajna"
(visarg is missing),
Kunindas
(ya is missing)

(ya is missing)
maharajas
( ya is missing). This style of writing isavailable frequently in Indus script

Check the work of the professof of IIT kanpur on the unit of measurement used in the Indus valley and also on the iron pole of delhi. He proved that the unit of measurement of delhi and indus valley civilization are same.Please search it IIT Kanpur Metulargy dept
