I'm having trouble with my emailsettings. Please help...

.This article helps you troubleshoot your problems related to email settingsIf you have problems retrieving email then, you can try a couple of things to fix thisproblem.
1.
Uncheck
all the current settings you have (ex:-pop3 server settings, sslsettings etc.,)
2.
Close
your Outlook.
3.
Reopen
Outlook and turn all the settings back on.The above steps refreshes your email settings. These steps should ideally take careof the problem. If these don't then, here's how to ensure you have proper email settings.

From your
Outlook
tool bar, click
Tools
->
Accounts
.2.Click on the email account you have issue with.

Click
Properties

Check:
 
oIncoming pop3 server name. (also check whether your email can beused under IMAP server and select the option appropriately)ooutgoing smtp server name.

Log On using secure password authentication is
unchecked

Account requires authentication is
checked
.oIncoming pop3 server Port address.

Handy stuff! Thanks! I've gone through troubles with outgoing mail settings myself. Resolved with smtp.com server, they also offer screenshots: http://www.smtp.com/client_setup.htm
