Dear Friend,Have you ever owned a kaleidoscope? Asa child I was once fortunate enough tohave one and it gave me many happyhours of entertainment. How ever hard you shook the contents of the outercase they always settled down andformed a pretty pattern. The patternswere never exactly the same; it alldepended on where the fragments lay.Life is rather like a kaleidoscope, it is made up of many parts,differing from person to person, but in every case they form apattern. Sometimes the pieces are rather drab, at other timescolourful, but the components, or experiences, all make adivinely planned pattern.
I will praise Thee: For I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Marvellous are Thy works, and that my soul knoweth rightwell.

So far this summer the weather has been quite varied butwhat would we do without our climate? Even with acomplete stranger we can immediately start a conversationby talking about the weather. It is a subject guaranteed tobreak down all barriers yet, in a different sense, climatecan also be a barrier, for so much depends on the individual.Take the person who is chilly to everyone they meet – theypass that chilliness on. Then there’s the person who’scloudy, full of gloom, leaving you feeling miserable and whatabout the person who knows how to put the whole world toright, thundering on about everyone, and everything? Wellat least that climate is invigorating, if somewhatexhausting!Then there’s the person with a sunny climate, beaming at you in greeting, creating an immediate warm feeling. Itmakes you feel that even if the sun isn't actually shining, itwill be very soon.
