Methodology
A uni-stage stratified sample was designed covering adults (18+) in Egyptianhouseholds having landline telephones nationwide
 
. Relative weights were used torepresent adults according to their actual representation in the society, and according tocertain demographic characteristics.Data was collected through telephone interviews on 5

June 2009. Telephoneinterviews were conducted in morning (11am- 4 pm), and evening shifts (4.30 pm – 8.30 pm).  Number of actual responses came to 1721, and the refusal rate reached 9%.Statistical data processing was conducted using the Statistical Package for SocialScience (SPSS), in addition to the qualitative analysis of the open-ended questions.According to the results of the poll, the sampling error was calculated at 95%confidence rate, and therefore the sampling error for this poll equals ± 1.9%.
