Assumptions

Pakistan’s Muslim
society acknowledges
women’s right to pursue
professional career solong it is within theambiance of Islamicvalues and norms andwithout compulsion onthe women to work ornot to workii.
 
Pakistani Urban womenhave motivation andpotentials to seekprofessional careers,however, their choicesare restrained by thelack of long term careerorientation andcommitment; self-proclaimed inhibitions;and, sometimes theirinability to control theirimmediate workenvironmentassertively.
Project Purpose
The project has specificfocus on the urban womeneither already working orwill be making choices toenter into the world of work. It envisages to affectthe followings:i.

Design and conductseries of intensivetraining workshopsfor the urban womenas Certified MasterTrainers, across themain cities of Pakistan
 Output
i.
 
A robust curriculumand action plandeveloped consistentto the ground realitiesand, needs andexpectations of workorganizations andurban women,respectively.ii.
 
Certified MasterTrainers developed,who shall disseminatetraining on continuousbasis within theirrespectiveorganizations /regions

Training is generallyconsidered useful andsupportive by theurban women inparticular and workorganizations ingeneralii.
 
Approximately 100 to150 urban womentrained as CertifiedMaster Trainers acrossthe main cities of thecountry
