How to create a Blog using Blogger

Visit 
http://www.blogger.com/start
and click on
CREATE YOUR BLOG NOW.

First you’re required to create a Google Account to set up a blog. If you’ve already had aGmail e-mail address, fill in the form like the one below.
 
NOTES:
1.
Type your Gmailaddress in the
Emailaddress
box. This willbe used to log in to your blog on Blogger.
2.
Type the password youwant to use. It’s better and safer to use thesame password as theone you use to log intoGmail.
3.
Choose a
Displayname
(your first nameor nickname).
4.
Type the
WordVerification
in the box
.

Don’t forget to tick thebox in front of 
“
I accepttheTerms of Service
”

Finally, click the
CONTINUE
button.

Here comes the second step to create your blog.
 
•
Fill in the title for your blog. You can call it anything you like, e.g. the name of the course you’regoing to use the blog with or 
your name’s
blog.
•
For the blog address, this is going to be the website address (URL) of your blog. And you cantell other people or your students to visit and post a message in the blog. It must
NOT
containany space so it must be ONE word.
•
Don’t forget to click the “
Check Availability
” link to make sure that no one has used the websiteaddress yet. ***Take notes of the URL and your blog title.

After typing the letters or characters you see on the screen for Word Verification, click the
CONTINUE
arrow
.

Now you must choose a template, that is, how you want your blog looks. There are variousbackgrounds, colours and layouts to choose. Click on the
“Use This Template”
button under thetemplate you want to use. You can also scroll down to see more templates
.
After choosing the template you like, click the
CONTINUE
arrow
.
The website will create a blogfor you automatically

Congratulations! You have just
created 
your blog! Now click
START POSTING
.

 After your Blog is created you can POST a message to it 
•
Type in the title or topic of the discussion you’d like to post. At the moment, type in “
My CALLtraining
”.
•
Write something in the blank space or the message box, for example, what you’ve learnedtoday and what you think or how you feel about it.
•
After you finish typing the message, click
Preview
to preview your post. Then click
HidePreview
to come back to the original message if you want to make changes or edit something.
•
After you’re satisfied with what you write, click the button
Publish Post.
 
Note:
You can also change the format your message—change the colour, size and alignment of thetext, make some words bold-typed or italicise them, using numbers or bullets for anything you want toput as a list, etc.If everything has worked correctly you will see the above message
. If you click
View Blog
, you’ll seeyour post inserted in your blog.
