ECHO & EKG SCREENING

The echocardiogram (ECHO)& electrocardiogram (EKG) are the best tools for detection of the risks of sudden cardiac death. These tests typically cost $1,500 and are usually not covered by insurance. Heartfelt Cardiac Projects is teaming up with Laguna Beach High School to oer cardiac screenings for a tax deductible donation of $85 per person, ages 5 & up.

Ryans Story
Ryan, a 14 year old student athlete, was identified with a heart condition during a Heartfelt screening. "We cannot stress enough what we learned from this experience and how strongly we feel that every responsible parent and spouse should have their children and loved ones screened as was done by so many St. Margarets families under the Heartfelt Project this past August." Cheynes Story
As luck would have it, the day Cheyne our 13 year old club soccer player came home and told me she was the fastest girl in her PE class, was also the day we found out that she had a hole in her heart that would require open heart surgery to repair. It was the best decision of our life to have Cheyne screened via a Heartfelt screening and we are eternally grateful.
