UKIPs xenophobic agenda pushed all the parties to the right The Tories have launched two schemes to scapegoat migrants. Spot checks were carried out at London stations to identify illegal immigrants as well as using a van carrying the message Go Home. All over Europe, immigrants are being blamed for the economic crisis and we see far-right parties like Golden Dawn in Greece and Jobbik in Hungary openly attack nonwhite people in the streets. Tory ministers are planning to force schools to check the immigration status of pupils as part of a push against what they describe as education tourism, and they have made it harder for non-British citizens to receive social provisions and health care. No to racist scapegoating Mainstream politicians must not use the crisis as an excuse to scapegoat minorities. Unemployment is not caused by immigration but by the cuts made by the Con-Dem government.
