Brothers of Howell Lodge #38 F&AM,
September 2013
The fleeting days of summer and the rapid approach of autumn brings a renewal of rivalries between theWolverines and Spartans and numerous other college and high school football teams. The changing season alsobrings a resurrection of light as our Masonic Lodge has been mostly dark during the months of July and August. Ihope the summer respite has rekindled your spirit of commitment to Howell Lodge #38 F&AM and that you willstrive this autumn to attend meetings, participate in degree work, strengthen friendships and enjoy socialactivities at our lodge.
Wednesday, September 4, 2013 Temple Board will meet at 6:00 pm.
All members are welcome to attendTemple Board meetings that are conducted in Fellowship Hall.
Regular Blue Lodge will commence at 7:00 pm
and JW Doug Belser will provide ample food to nourish our spirits following the business meeting.
A date will be set at the September 4
meeting to raise three Fellowcrafts to the degree of Master Mason.
Probable dates will be either Wednesday, September 18 or Saturday, September 21. It will be difficult butpossible to raise all three FCs on Wednesday evening. Saturday permits extra time and less pressure to completethe degree work. Please mark these tentative dates in your calendars and plan to participate in this work. Wealways need your assistance to provide the candidates a memorable and meaningful experience as they begintheir journeys along Masonic pathways.
