Tritheism is a polytheistic view of God. It is taught by the Mormon church. According to Mormonism the Trinity of the bible are three distinct Gods. Mormonism also teaches there could be millions of Gods, each with their own universe and plan of salvation.

Oneness groups teach dogmatically that people who believe in the Trinity are hell bound.
"Sincere profession based on a faulty concept of Christ is not enough; one must believe and obey the gospel. . . . Where does this leave those who have a certain degree of faith in Christ but have not obeyed the full gospel?. . . such people are pre-Pentecost believers, not part of the apostolic church. . . they need to be led to further truth. . . they are in the conception stage and have not yet had the new birth" (The New Birth: Series in Pentecostal Theology, vol. 2, pp. 313-14).

The Plurality Of The One God

Elohim is a plural noun.

Exo 20:3 You shall have no other gods (Elohim) before Me.

1Sa 4:7 And the Philistines were afraid, for they said, God (Elohim) is come into the camp. And they said, Woe unto us! for there hath not been such a thing heretofore. 8 Woe unto us! who shall deliver us out of the hand of these mighty Gods (Elohim)? these are the Gods (Elohim) that smote the Egyptians with all the plagues in the wilderness.

 God refers to Himself 4X In The Plural

1x - Gen 1:26 And God (Elohim) said, Let Us make man in Our image, after Our likeness.

The oneness of God (Elohim) is found in the use of singular Hebrew pronouns

Gen 1:27 And God created man in His image; in the image of God He created him. He created them male and female.

Our image in Gen. 1:26 cant mean God is including the angels

1Co 11:7 For a man indeed ought not to have his head covered, because he is the image and glory of God. But the woman is the glory of the man.

2x - Gen 3:22 And Yahweh/Jehovah God (Elohim) said, Behold, the man has become as one of Us, to know good and evil. And now, lest he put forth his hand and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live forever,

 Plurality And Distinction Is Seen In God Speaking To God

New Testament Application To Jesus

Salvation Depends On A Right View Of The Trinity
