Behind the Cover:
We were delighted at thesuggestion of Janelle to shootat a local Century Farm in Mt. Juliet. Located within the hustleof Providence, the charming farm, much like Janelle, is “country with atouch of glam.”The cover shoot was part of aneventful week that included Janelle’sdebut at the Grand Ole Opry and thelaunch of the Season 12 AmericanIdol summer tour. The combinedefforts of local photographer Jordan Hunter with the styling ofThe Crystal Couture Store madethe shoot a success. Janellereturns to her home state inlate August as she completesthe nal leg of the tour.
I am thrilled to unveil the new look and feel of OurHome magazine. For this project, I had the pleasureto collaborate with industry leaders and community contributors to create a unique community experience. It is with great excitement and much anticipationthat Our Home magazine debuts Wilson resident, Janelle Arthur. From Idol to Opry, Janelle is anundeniable representation of local roots andunyielding determination for success. As Wilson County expands, so does the immensetalent and commerce. We dedicate this issue to theexciting ventures of local talent, bustling business, and emerging arts. From niche nesting’s of localeateries to the rejuvenation of Capitol Theatre, ourcommunity is thriving. I urge you to experience andexplore all that Wilson County provides.Best,
