Dearest and precious friends and family,When is coming to the middle of the year, we don’t walk anymore…we run!!! It is so much to do that we can looseour focus and because of that our strength and joy. That iswhy is necessary to stop, revaluate and recharge, all inGod’s Presence. We just had a wonderful 3 days“Encounter with God” seminar: the team and the studentsof our Bible School.….It was so refreshing! We got up from our knees withnew attitudes, hope and revelation. More than anythingthis is what God desires and dreams to have with us.Thank you Jesus for revealing more of the Father in us!
Trip toNacala
The first 2days Ienjoyedteachingandministeringto thestudents from our Discipleship School. On the first day Iwas teaching them how to reach children for Jesus, howto pastor the young generation and how to see the valuethat God sees in each one of them. For majority of thestudents it has been hard to believe that they are loved andvaluable as they find lots of persecution at their homesafter they received Jesus. In order for them to be spiritualfathers and mothers to the children of Mozambique theyhad to receive healing from Our Heavenly Father,learning that they are valuable and precious in God’seyes. It is such a privilege to impart vision and teach ourstudents how to love and minister to this younggeneration of Mozambique. Just knowing that they willgo all over in the darkest parts of the country and take thekids into the Kingdom of God from the stronghold of islam.We spend few days in each place:
Muzuane, Rassim
and
Nacoto
. In
Muzuane
we had Kids Day at the school –around 300 kids. I also visit some of the people I met lastyear. It broke my heart to find that one muslim girl thatreceived Jesus last year died. Fatima was very young;probably she had AIDS because few months after shedied her husband died too. When she got sick, her momwho is a strong muslim very involved in witchcraftprohibited her to go to church and had her drawn inwitchcraft again. She died and right now her momprohibits all family to go to church, especially Fatima’ssister Alima and the other brothers. When her momwasn’t there we prayed with Alima and encouraged her todon’t give up on Jesus. She really wanted to be with usand when we left her eyes were full with tears.Everybody in the family fears the mom. We areremembering Alima in our prayers. I want so much to seeher with Jesus, saved and protected.In
Nacoto
I was also able to visit some old friends. Avery special time was when with Mae Nicky we visit thechief’s family. After 46 years of marriage they were atone step to divorce. I am sure that the lady had lots of reason to leave her husband (being “the chief” he coulddo anything even not being faithful to his wife), butbecause the man wanted to ask forgiveness and wantedhis wife back we were there to reconcile.It was a precious time to be there when they were askingforgiveness to each other, when they asked forgiveness toGod and when they opened their hearts crying forreconciliation. What a privilege! Mae Nicky challengedall of us to start praying inside the house, breaking cursesand bless this family. The house belonged to “the chief”that was before. As they were all involved in lots of witchcraft, for sure there were demonic strongholds thatthey were passing to each other from one generation tothe next one. While praying we found in one room manyof the traditional things they used in witchcraft andceremonies. They had to dig a hole to be able to fit all inorder to destroy and burn them. I know that there is moreto happen there, thatthey need to finish witheverything that was oris connected withtradition and witchcraft.But I know that Godwas there when theypromised faithfulnessand love to each other.Our time in
Rassim
was also very special. The kids thereare like always: hungry for love and attention. What I seedifferent in
Rassim
from other places is that the parentsactually are sending their children to church even they goto the mosque. And we should take advantage of this.Cassale is continuing the work there.Very special to me was when we visit the old couple thatreceived Jesus a year ago. She doesn’t see well, both of them were sick for long time, so they were not going tochurch. When he saw us from far he said to her: “Herecomes our family”.
