Updating the vehicles software ensures that owners have access to the latest features and the best performance the system has to offer. Many of the enhancements reect the voice-of-the-customer, as engineers continuously listen carefully to daily users and respond to what would improve their experience with the system. Pairing and connecting a phone is the single most important step to begin enjoying the system. The sequence has been shortened. When the phone is connected successfully, users will now see what used to be a series of three pop-ups all contained into a single screen. The prompts include: Change voice mail number Set 911 Assist On or Off Set Auto Phonebook Download On or Off Prior to this version of the software, some users experienced issues with their system performance when the Auto Phonebook Download was set On.
