begin at the Welcome Center in R-112. Upon acceptance, students receive an
appointment for orientation and registration for the fall term. Students who fail toenroll in the fall 2009 term forfeit their scholarship award and it is automatically
canceled. For questions or help, contact the Ofce for Development, RAB-207,
or call 352.395.5200.2. Fees are automatically deducted from an award when a student registers for
classes. Any balance owed must be paid at the cashier’s window, RAB-52, by the
published deadline; otherwise the courses will be dropped. If there is a balance
remaining after fees are deducted, a balance check will be mailed to the addresson le with the Records and Admissions ofce. Checks will not be mailed tostudents who owe an obligation to the college or have a nancial aid hold on
their records.Students will be monitored for a cumulative minimum required GPA, completed credits/hours,and time frame at the end of every term. Satisfactory academic progress is required for the awardto remain intact for the next term. Students who complete zero credits/hours will be deniedfurther aid. A student who is selected for a scholarship and will not meet the required enrollment
