God’s Protection Plan
against Deadly VirusesThe Law of the Spirit of Life in Christ Renders Illnesses Powerless

 Romans 8:2

2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.
Know that you are under the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus, which has rendered the law of sin and death futile against you. In other words, you are free from all diseases through Christ. In the world, those who recovered from SARS in 2003 were walking around peacefully, knowing well that they never will contract the same illness again, since they are immune against the virus, through the virus. However, as believers, we have peace during this period of time even wheneveryone else in anxious and worrisome - for we know that the law of sin and death has nopower over us, ever again. To further let that truth set into us, let us look into what the Word hasto say about His awesome plan for us against illnesses and diseases.

Psalms 91 - God's Protection Plan for Us

 Psalms 91:1-16

1 He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. 2 I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust. 3 Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.4 He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall bethy shield and buckler. 5 Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;6 Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.7 A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not comenigh thee.8 Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked.9 Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation;10 There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.11 For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.12 They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.13 Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trampleunder feet.14 Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name.15 He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him,and honour him.16 With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.
Scripture tells us that as believers, when we dwell in God's presence, He will be our refuge andour fortress, delivering us from all types of disasters and damage. Even though everythingaround us looks discouraging and at times frightening, we know that a thousand shall fall on theleft side and ten thousand on the right yet no evil shall come near us. Especially during thisInfluenza A(H1N1) crisis, know that as sons and daughters in Christ, no evil shall come near youand that no weapon shall prosper against you as God has a protection plan for us which we willstudy in great detail in this message. Here, we also understand that God has destined us for longlife, a life full of days for us to show Him His salvation. This is God's promise to us, and Hispromise is sure so rest in the truth that the scripture has revealed to you.

God Wants to be Our God of Peace

Romans 15:1313 Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost. Romans 15:33

33 Now the God of peace be with you all. Amen.
In Romans 15:33, we see that the apostle Paul ended his sermon by praying for the God of peaceto be with his disciples. Here, some of us may start to wonder why he prayed in that way sinceGod is always with us as we can see from 1 Kings 8:57, Psalms 27:9, Hebrews 13:5. However, as we see from Romans 15:13, God was referred to in this context as the God of hope. As such, wecan infer that God can manifest Himself to us in different manner, according to how we benefitin His presence. As such, apostle Paul was, in fact, praying for his disciples not just to beconscious of God always being with them but for them to be able to experience God as the Godof peace.
1 Kings 8:57

57 The LORD our God be with us, as he was with our fathers: let him not leave us, nor forsakeus:

 Psalms 27:9

9 Hide not thy face far from me; put not thy servant away in anger: thou hast been my help;leave me not, neither forsake me, O God of my salvation. Hebrew 13:5

5 Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.
Having learnt about God wanting to be our God of peace, let us learn more about what thatmeans for us.
The God of Peace Shall Bruise Satan Under Your Feet

 Romans 16:20

20 And the God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord  Jesus Christ be with you. Amen.
Here in Romans 16:20, we understand that the God of peace shall bruise Satan under our feet.Notice that Satan will be bruised under
our
feet, not the LORD's. As such, we understand thatthere is an element of personal application here. Since the title "God of peace" or Jehovah-Shalom was mentioned in Judges 16, let us look at that passage to better understand the God of peace.
