OBAMA APPOINTED ADMINISTRATOR INSTRUCTSNASA EMPLOYEES TO "CELEBRATE"LESBIAN, GAY,BISEXUAL AND TRANSGENDER SEXUAL BEHAVIOR AND PROMOTE GAY RIGHTS ACTIVITIES
Family Policy Council Leader Blasts the Commander in Chief and NASA's Acting Administrator for Being "Off-Mission"(Orlando, FL) This past Monday June 9, the approximately 300,000employees of the National Aeronautics Space Administration (NASA)were instructed to join other organizations around the country and"celebrate" Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) PrideMonth by actively finding and or organizing their own gay rightsactivities.This internal NASA memo comes on the heels of President BarackObama's resurrection of a proclamation started by President Clintonbut not recognized by President George W. Bush. The Obamaproclamation even went farther than the original one and included"bisexuals" and "transgenders" for the first time as well as advocatingfor the policy positions of homosexual adoption, gays openly serving inthe military, hate "thought" crimes, civil union marriages and grantingspecial federal rights for homosexuals.Christopher J. Scolese, the Acting NASA Administrator who wasappointed by President Obama earlier this year, encouraged NASAemployees to become active gay rights proponents which he claimedreflects "American Values". I disagree completely. Mr. Scolese's memo encourages inclusion and acceptance among NASA's 19,000 employees. Rather than foster bad internal morale, Mr. Scolese recognizes the value that all NASA employees contribute to the agency's mission regardless of sexual orientation. Contrary to Mr. Stemberger's statement, I believe NASA is well served by an open minded Administrator such as Mr. Scolese who doesn't pander to those special interest groups who ostracize other human beings simply because they are different.
