This Is the Time of Your Life

Our world is in the midst of a life science revolution. The Museum’s life science
exhibits and programs help you explore how constant advances in research and
technology are changing our lives.

Beyond the X-Ray delves into the wonderful world of medical imaging technology.
See how radiologists make diagnoses based on examination of X-rays, CT scans,
and PET scans. In the classic exhibit Frontiers of Biotechnology, learn how life
science technology helps treat disease and design the clothes we wear.

The Human Body Connection illuminates human anatomy, physiology, evolution,

medicine, and medical technology.

The Museum’s focus on life science will culminate in the future launch of The
Hall of Human Life, a comprehensive introduction to human biology through
presentations of up-to-the-minute research and the engineering science behind it.
