DeployAgility: Automate WebSphere Application Configuration and Deployment

DeployAgility: Automate WebSphere Application Configuration and Deployment

Published by Brian McCallion
DeployAgility changes the application build and deployment paradigm. Instead of enabling a "Tower of Babel" in which each development team duplicates efforts to create its own automated build and deployment process, DeployAgility inverts this practice. DeployAgility provides the framework, API, and process. Each application simply and flexibly declares it's dependencies and targets. DeployAgility then receives this information and completely deploys the application. Now test, qa, and production deployment can be performed repeatably and by the right person. By providing a rich and reusable process for J2EE deployment, developers, systems administrators, WebSphere engineers, and quality assurance engineers can focus on the performance and function of an application--knowing that the deployment is automated and based on a standard and repeatable process specific to that application.
