AT&T BRINGS MOBILE INTERNET NETWORK TO MINOCQUA
 
 As Part of AT&T’s Project VIP Investment,
Local Wireless Network Upgrade Extends Access to Advanced Products, Services and Applications 
MINOCQUA, WIS., August 29, 2013
  AT&T*today announced the availability of its mobile Internet service in Minocqua, extending access for advanced mobile services, devices and applications tocustomers in the area. AT&T is an industry leader in delivering the benefits of the mobile Internet, offering powerful and flexibleconnectivity, a wide range of smartphone and other device options, and simultaneous voice and datacapabilities for an amazing wireless voice and Internet experience.
This upgrade is part of AT&T’s Project Velocity IP (VIP), a three
-year investment plan announced lastfall to expand and enhance its IP broadband networks. Through this investment, AT&T is supporting its
customers’ growing desire for high
-speed Internet access and new mobile, app and cloud-basedservices. As part of Project VIP, AT&T plans to add more than 10,000 macro cell sites nationwide byyear-end 2015, as well as deploy more than 40,000 small cells and add more than 1,000 Distributed Antenna Systems to increase the density of its wireless network.
