1 Unto the angel of the church of Ephesus write;‘These things saithHe That holdeth theseven stars in Hisright hand, Whowalketh in the midstof the seven goldencandlesticks; 2 Iknow thy works,and thy labour, andthy patience, andhow thou canst notbear them which areevil: and thou hasttried them whichsay they areapostles, and arenot, and hast foundthem liars: 3 Andhast borne, andhast patience, andfor My name's sakehast laboured, andhast not fainted. 4Nevertheless I have
somewhat
againstthee, because thouhast left thy firstlove. 5 Remember therefore fromwhence thou artfallen, and repent,and do the firstworks; or else I willcome unto theequickly, and willremove thycandlestick out of his place, except8 And unto theangel of the churchin Smyrna write;‘These things saiththe First and theLast, Which wasdead, and is alive; 9I know thy works,and tribulation, andpoverty, (but thouart rich) and

the blasphemy of them which saythey are Jews, andare not, but
are
thesynagogue of Satan. 10 Fear none of those thingswhich thou shaltsuffer: behold, thedevil shall cast
some
of you intoprison, that ye maybe tried; and yeshall havetribulation ten days:be thou faithful untodeath, and I will givethee a crown of life.11 He that hath anear, let him hear what the Spirit saithunto the churches;He that overcomethshall not be hurt of the second death.’12 And to the angelof the church inPergamos write;‘These things saithHe Which hath thesharp sword withtwo edges; 13 Iknow thy works,and where thoudwellest,

Myfaithful martyr, whowas slain amongyou, where Satandwelleth. 14 But Ihave a few thingsagainst thee,because thou hastthere them that holdthe doctrine of Balaam, who taughtBalac to cast astumblingblockbefore the childrenof Israel, to eatthings sacrificedunto idols, and tocommit fornication.15 So hast thoualso them that holdthe doctrine of theNicolaitanes, whichthing I hate. 16Repent; or else I willcome unto thee18 And unto theangel of the churchin Thyatira write;‘These things saiththe Son of God,Who hath His eyeslike unto a flame of fire, and His feet

like fine brass; 19 Iknow thy works,and charity, andservice, and faith,and thy patience,and thy works; andthe last

morethan the first. 20Notwithstanding, Ihave a few thingsagainst thee,because thousufferest thatwoman Jezebel,which calleth herself a prophetess, toteach and to seduceMy servants tocommit fornication,and to eat thingssacrificed unto idols.21 And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; andshe repented not.22 Behold, I willcast her into a bed,and them thatcommit adulterywith her into greattribulation, exceptthey repent of their deeds. 23 And I will1 And unto theangel of the churchin Sardis write;‘These things saithHe That hath theseven Spirits of God, and the sevenstars; I know thyworks, that thouhast a name thatthou livest, and artdead. 2 Bewatchful, andstrengthen thethings whichremain, that areready to die: for Ihave not found thyworks perfectbefore God. 3Remember therefore how thouhast received andheard, and holdfast, and repent. If therefore thou shaltnot watch, I willcome on thee as athief, and thou shaltnot know what hour I will come uponthee. 4 Thou hast afew names even inSardis which havenot defiled their garments; and theyshall walk with Mein white: for they areworthy. 5 He thatovercometh, thesame shall be7 And to the angelof the church inPhiladelphia write;‘These things saithHe That is holy, HeThat is true, HeThat hath the key of David, He Thatopeneth, and noman shutteth; andshutteth, and noman openeth; 8 Iknow thy works:behold, I have setbefore thee an opendoor, and no mancan shut it: for thouhast a little strength,and hast kept Myword, and hast notdenied My name. 9Behold, I will makethem of thesynagogue of Satan, which saythey are Jews, andare not, but do lie;behold, I will makethem to come andworship before thyfeet, and to knowthat I have lovedthee. 10 Becausethou hast kept theword of Mypatience, I also willkeep thee from thehour of temptation,which shall comeupon all the world,to try them that14 And unto theangel of the churchof the Laodiceanswrite; ‘These thingssaith the Amen, thefaithful and trueWitness, thebeginning of thecreation of God; 15I know thy works,that thou art neither cold nor hot: I wouldthou wert cold or hot. 16 So thenbecause thou artlukewarm, andneither cold nor hot,I will spue thee outof My mouth. 17Because thousayest, “I am rich,and increased withgoods, and haveneed of nothing;”and knowest notthat thou artwretched, andmiserable, andpoor, and blind, andnaked: 18 I counselthee to buy of Megold tried in the fire,that thou mayest berich; and whiteraiment, that thoumayest be clothed,and
