Quilters Mystery Block Supply List Each student will need to bring the following items: All fabrics

must be washed and ironed before class. All fabric must be 100% cotton. You need; *4 yards of a neutral background *10-20 fat quarters. (You may not need all the material but will want to have a variety to choose from.) Mix up your patterns, prints and solids in a manner that are pleasing to you. Two sheets of Quilters plastic Template. (You must have this to begin each block. Ask the store clerk to help you find it.) 2 pairs of scissors-one pair for cutting paper and one pair to cut fabric. Thread-medium to light gray in color. Thimble-optional Needle threader-optional #2 lead pencil Needles- size 9 or 10 sharps Straight pins See-Through 12 inch ruler (preferably OmiGrid) Colored pencils or crayons. (This will help you arrange your pattern layout.) Light box. (Will be needed later in the series. Probably not until October, 2013.)
