Move your domain name to another company
If you would like to move your domain to another registering agent you will have to performa registrar transfer. The transfer process depends on the type of domain name:
Nominet Domains (.uk)
To transfer an .uk domain to another agent we require a require either:A written request from the current domain owner, on company letterhead paper (if applicable), sent by fax or by post, and including the domain name and the Nominet(IPS) Tag of the receiving registering agent.OrThe same information, but submitted as a support ticket in your customer controlpanel. We will then update the IPS-Tag for the domain, and cancel your package in our system (if applicable).
Global Domain Names
To transfer other domain names we require either:A written request from the current domain owner, on company letterhead paper (if applicable), sent by fax or by post, asking us to unlock the domain name.orThe same information, but submitted as a support ticket in your customer controlpanel. We will then unlock the domain name so that it can be transferred. The procedure thendepends on the type of domain:

You will then need to ask your new registering agent to submit a transfer request on yourbehalf. An email will then be sent to the registrant email address (from the whois contactinformation), requesting authorisation for the transfer. Once you have responded to thisemail the transfer will complete.
