,the American Concrete Institute is a technical and education society dedicated toimproving the design, construction, maintenance, and repair o concrete and masonry structures.Our annual catalog is a compilation o the products and services we oer. It includes a description o hundredso technical committee documents, Special Publications, and Symposium Publications. It also lists education andcertifcation publications; convention, seminar, and certifcation programs; and inormation on how to join ACI.
Symbols and Related Inormation
Whenever possible, the use o phrases, characters, and numbers has been standardized. For example, the phrase“Also in MCP-1 and MCP CD-ROM” indicates that a standard or report is also reproduced in the 2009
Manual of Concrete Practice
(MCP), Part 1, and the 2009 MCP CD-ROM. A similar naming convention applies to the documentscontained in the other parts o the MCP. The content o the 2009
Manual of Concrete Practice
, Parts 1 through 6, isound in the middle section o this catalog, pages 51-54.Index numbers such as 301-05 or 302.1R-04 indicate an ACI technical committee document. The number beore thedecimal point is the sponsoring committee number. I a document is a report, the number is ollowed by the letter “R.”I no letter is shown, the document is a standard. The last two numbers indicate year o publication.Special and Symposium Publications are designated by the letters SP ollowed by a number. For example, SP-2designates Special Publication No. 2. SCM denotes seminar course manuals, CCS denotes concrete cratsman series,and certifcation publications have CP beore the product number (such as CP-1(09)).This catalog is arranged according to technical topics.
