Taking the Exam
Q Sets:
Each exam has a maximum of 125 questions; the question grid on the upper left provides a visual guide to yourprogress during the exam. Questions 1 through 60 are displayed in QSet 1, 61 through 120 in QSet 2, etc. Youmay use the grid to jump to any question at anytime during the exam.The grid uses colors to depict question status:
blue
: current question
gray
: question has been viewed, but not answered
gray with number crossed out
: question has been answered
green F
: question has been flagged, so that you may return to it easily
red E
: (only in tutor mode) no answer was selected because the answer and explanation were viewed
Answering Questions:
To answer the question, click anywhere on your selected answer. The test will automatically progress to the nextunanswered question.Click
Flag & Skip
if you would like to mark the question and return to it at a later time; the question will bemarked with a green F in the question grid.Click
Explain (I give up - tell me)
if you would like to view the answer and explanation. You will not be allowedto answer the question after viewing the explanation; it will be displayed as a red E in the question grid.Questions may be left unanswered.
Suspending the Exam:
If you would like to stop an exam at any point, select
Exit Exam
. The exam will be suspended and may bereturned to at a later time by going to the “Previous Exams” page.
Completing the Exam:
When you have finished the exam, select
Complete
. Your exam will be scored, and you may review answersand explanations. To view explanations, click
Details
from the Exam Summary page.
