Compilers Commentary On TheApocalypse Of St. John
Prologue : The Book It's Source And Contents
The Apocalypse or Revelation Of Jesus Christ
and its contents areabout things that must
....come to pass....
and theannouncement of
Christ's second coming
. Near the end of the chapter St.John is told to
write in a book ....
and send to the seven churches
the things that thou hast seen, and the things that are, and the things that are to comehereafter
. (vrs:19) Because of the words
...must shortly come
...thetime is at hand...
...the things that are
With regard to time how can we how can we understand what this really means:
, Jesus speaks in Heavens time of the things that are....
, about which St. Peter says,....
But beloved do not be ignorant of this onething, that one day with the Lord is as a thousand years, and a thousand yearsis as one day.
, “the future is (always)
present in the Divine Mind.”
(Poema, p243)Think about it! Now, the meaning of .
the things that are
and the things
that are tocome hereafter
.... are one and the same because it comes from the mind of Godnot man..What is written therefore, is not only about what St. John saw at that time but allthe time to the end days before Christ’s second coming. Hence the letters to theseven churches announces the spiritual condition Gods Church at that time andbefore He comes when the abomination of desolation will have entered into theTemple of God, as spoken of in Daniel IX:27 warned of by Our Lady Of Fatima inher third secret in 1917 and announced by Pope Paul VI on June 29, 1972 whenhe said, " we have the impression that through some fissure the smoke of Satanhas entered into the Temple of God."“When the abomination reaches it's ultimate, the Lamb will break the seven sealsduring the cataclysmic warning of the sixth seal man will be shaken to the veryfoundation of his being and recognize his own sinfulness.(Rev.VI) After this, if man does not change God will release the Angels of the seven trumpets, alongwith the eagle of the three woes and punish man with the Great Chastisementand the scourges of the seven bowls.(Rev.VIII:6-13,Rev.XVI) At the victoriousreturn, the second coming of Jesus, Satan will be chained and the great peacewill last until his final release and defeat at which time will come the general judgment upon mankind and the end of time.”(Rev.XIX, XX:1-3,7-14) (Lezioni sullEpistola di Paolo ai Romani, p 44-45)
