Description

***LET US KNOW WHAT BOOK EXCERPTS YOU'D LIKE TO SEE ON SCRIBD, PLEASE COMMENT***

The Disinformation Company was founded in 1997 and has been pushing the boundaries of news and opinion in a variety of media ever since.

The Disinformation website at www.disinfo.com has been a leading source of online news and information on alternative topics since it launched in 1996.

The "Disinfo Nation" television series broke new ground during two full seasons airing on the UK’s Channel 4 network in 2001 and 2002. Wired said it “makes Jackass look tame” and the Los Angeles Times described it as “a punk rock 60 Minutes.”

There are more than 70 Disinformation books in print and the thriving publishing division of the company continues to publish new books by bestselling authors including Jim Marrs, Graham Hancock, Russ Kick and Robert Bauval.

The Disinformation Company’s home entertainment division, launched in 2003, has released more than 50 films including bestselling documentaries such as "Outfoxed: Rupert Murdoch’s War On Journalism," "2012: Science Or Superstition," "Da Vinci Code Decoded," "Wal-Mart: The High Cost of Low Price" and Endgame: Blueprint for
Human Enslavement."

In 2009 we are pleased to expand our home entertainment line into select narrative feature films with the release of a new film by one of Russia’s most acclaimed directors, Alexey Balabanov. Jeanette Catsoulis, of the New York Times, described it as, “Art house meets grind house in Alexey Balabanov’s morbidly compelling thriller set in the Soviet Union.” In a Wall Street Journal  interview, Alexey Balabanov spoke of "Cargo 200" in the following terms: “I show what filth we lived in. Society was sick from 1917 onwards.”

Similarly, we are very proud to be publishing Jim Marrs’ first novel, "The Sisterhood of the Rose." Jim has achieved huge success in the non-fiction arena with bestsellers including "Rule By Secrecy," "Alien Agenda" and "The Rise of the Fourth Reich." His fiction debut also marks the first in what we hope will be a successful new line of fiction from Disinformation.

We hope you’ll enjoy all of our new books and films in 2009 and beyond. This year you will be able to find many of them not only at your usual favorite stores but also in electronic form as downloads at the leading e-stores including iTunes and Amazon.com. We welcome your feedback via our website: www.disinfo.com.
