Pay Industrial Dispute The right to participate in negotiations in respect of terms and conditions of employment, engagement or nontermination or suspension of employment. Those workers or categories of workers in relation to whom collective bargaining is, or could be appropriately carried on. Any agreement or arrangement which is made between one or more organizations representing workers and contains and conditions of employment of workers. Negotiations between organizations representing workers and employers. A contract of service or of apprenticeship whether oral or in writing. A rate or scale of remuneration in which there is no element of differentiation between male and female based on sex. A dispute between employers and workers or their organizations relating to terms and conditions of employment, engagement or non-engagement or termination of employment of workers, allocation of work between workers or a group of workers or any matter affecting the privileges, rights and duties of any employer or of any worker, or organization representing them. Any lock-out, or any strike, or any course of conduct other than a lock-out or strike, which, in contemplation or furtherance of an industrial dispute, is carried on by one or more employers or groups of workers whether they are parties to the dispute with the intention of preventing or reducing the production of goods or the provision of services. Action, which in contemplation or furtherance of an industrial dispute, is taken by one or more employers which consist of the exclusion of workers or the suspension or termination of a group of workers from the place of employment. Any day on which a worker is normally required to work for his employer, but does not include a rest day or a public holiday. The day allowed to the worker during the week when he is off the job. The day on which the rest day falls shall be determined by agreement between the worker and his employer. A concerted stoppage of work by a group of workers in contemplation or furtherance of an industrial dispute, whether carried out during or on the termination of their employment. Workers who, by agreement with their employers, regularly work for not less than 40 hours per week for any one employer. Remuneration in money and does not include the value of (a) any lodgings or food, or (b) any other benefit conferred upon the worker by his employer.
